Chhattisgarh: Spiritual sensations to perform at Mata Kaushalya Mahotsav

On the final day of the festival, renowned singer Padma Shri Kailash Kher will perform at Mata Kaushalya Dham

The grand celebrations of Mata Kaushalya Mahotsav commenced on Saturday. Renowned classical singer Maithili Thakur will present her devotional songs and bhajans at Mata Kaushalya Dham in Chandkhuri on the second day of the festival today. With her melodious voice and soulful renditions, Maithili Thakur from Bihar has become a sensation among the youth of India, captivating audiences with her musical prowess and evoking a sense of spiritual devotion with her bhajans and devotional songs.

On the same day of the festival, Mumbai's celebrated singer Kavita Paudwal will also present her devotional bhajans. Moreover, Vyomesh Shukla from Varanasi will perform the Shakti Puja of Lord Rama on the festival stage. Although originally scheduled to perform on the first day, their performances have been rescheduled to the second day due to adverse weather conditions.

Mumbai's Raminder Khurana will showcase her mesmerizing devotional classical dance on the festival's second day, followed by a soulful presentation of devotional songs, music, and bhajans by Prabhanjay Chaturvedi, hailing from Bhilai.

Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr Charandas Mahant will be the Chief Guest for the second day of the festival. Culture Minister Shri Amarjeet Bhagat, Tourism Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey and Urban Administration and Development Minister Shri Shivkumar Dahariya will be present as special guests.
