Taking a significant step towards achieving financial independence, the women of the Maa Danteshwari women self-help group associated with Mahatma Gandhi Rural Industrial Park of village Mingachal, have initiated a poultry feed production unit. With an investment of Rs 5 lakh, the women are delighted to commence their entrepreneurial venture.

In previous years, as part of the district administration's initiative, women from various Gram Panchayats and villages in the district are actively engaged in egg production. Currently, they have to purchase poultry feed from the market. Keeping this in view, the concept of establishing a poultry feed production unit by the Women Self-Help Group can prove to be a commendable entrepreneurial decision.

Devki Thakur, the President of Maa Danteshwari Self-Help Group, has expressed immense satisfaction with their association in the poultry feed production unit at Mingachal RIPA. This RIPA scheme has played a pivotal role in eradicating poverty and making women self-reliant.

During the inauguration of the poultry feed production unit, technical expert veterinary officer Dr Shiv Shankar and NRLM Block Program Manager Rohit Shori were present.
