Under the direction of Director General of Police Ashok Juneja, an 11-day training program on cyber crime research was inaugurated under the joint auspices of the Center for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) and Chhattisgarh Police. Participating in this training program are 25 police officers from the state's three police ranges, Raipur, Durg, and Bastar, respectively.
As the training course began, the Director General of Police, Ashok Juneja, advised police personnel to analyze NCRB statistics on cybercrime to determine the state's and the nation's current trends. He stated that in the case of Chhattisgarh, fraud crimes involving the theft of people's personal information through phishing, pen cards, and credit cards have been observed.
In addition, crimes like attacks against people and online harassment using fake identification on social media have been exposed in the state. The CDAC organization has made significant contributions to this area in the country's metropolitan areas. The analysis of crimes committed in the state can therefore be greatly aided by looking at a case study of such cases.
Meanwhile, Assistant Director General of Police Technology Services Pradeep Gupta stated that it is difficult for the police to slow the rate of growth of cybercrime. In the coming years, this crime will get more complex. In such a circumstance, police officers' competence levels must be raised.
In the modern world, knowing how to use the internet effectively is a skill that every police officer should possess. Only when the police are one step ahead, they can deal with crime effectively. The training modules offered by CDAC address every aspect of resolving cybercrime said Abhinav Dixit, associate director of CDAC.

Sai, Dr Sanjeev Shukla, Deputy Inspector General of Police Arif Sheikh, R.N. Dash, K.L. Dhruv, Manish Sharma, and other officers and employees of the police headquarters were present. The program was coordinated by the Additional Superintendent of Police, Technical Services, Kavi Gupta.
