Chhattisgarh opens 3,700 government job vacancies to boost youth employment opportunities

The Home Department has cleared 1,069 positions, including Subedar, Deputy Police Inspector, Assistant Sub Inspector, Platoon Commander, and Nagar Sainik roles

The Chhattisgarh government has initiated a large-scale recruitment drive across multiple departments, with approval granted for the hiring of 3,737 positions. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the Finance Department has greenlit recruitment for eight key sectors, including health, law enforcement, agriculture, and more.

Departments are actively working to advance the process, from preparing proposals to securing government approval, as per the Chief Minister's directive to expedite the process without delay. The recruitment campaign spans several critical areas, with the Health Department, Public Health Engineering Department, Agriculture Department, Rural Livelihood Mission, Home Department, Law Department, Tribal Welfare, and Forest and Environment Department leading the efforts.

Specific approvals include 181 posts in the Public Health Engineering Department, such as 118 Deputy Engineers (Civil) and 10 Deputy Engineers (Electrical/Mechanical).

The Home Department has cleared 1,069 positions, including Subedar, Deputy Police Inspector, Assistant Sub Inspector, Platoon Commander, and Nagar Sainik roles.

In healthcare, 1,201 positions for Medical Officers, Ayurveda Medical Officers, Staff Nurses, and other cadres have been sanctioned. Other significant approvals include 300 Hostel Superintendents for the Tribal Welfare Department, 66 forest guards, 362 posts in the Law Department, 237 positions under the Rural Development Department’s Livelihood Mission, and 321 Rural Agriculture Extension Officers in the Agriculture Department.

Recruitment for these positions is underway.
