Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for approving the high-speed four-lane road from Pathalgaon, Jashpur (Chhattisgarh) to Gumla (Jharkhand) under the Raipur to Ranchi National High-Speed Corridor Project. He stated that this significant road project will be a milestone in the development of both Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand.

He also congratulated the residents of Jashpur and the entire state for the approval of this high-speed four-lane road project. He noted that the construction of the road from Pathalgaon to Gumla will not only facilitate easier travel between Raipur and Ranchi but will also reduce travel time. The completion of this road project is expected to accelerate development efforts in both states.

The Prime Minister shared on ‘X’ the approval of eight national high-speed road projects, totaling Rs 50,655 crore and spanning approximately 936 km, by the Union Cabinet. He stated that the completion of these projects will not only boost economic development but also create employment opportunities across the country.

The Chattisgarh CM also inaugurated five girls' hostels with accommodation facilities for 300 SC girls in Arang on August 3. The total expenditure for these hostels exceeds Rs. 8.06 crore. He further announced the addition of 2,000 seats across all state hostels.

As part of the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign, the Chief Minister planted a Ramfal sapling on the hostel premises.

He distributed the financial assistance to various beneficiaries under the labourer welfare schemes.Additionally, Sai granted over Rs. 3,00,000 to five animal husbandry farmers to support their dairy businesses.

He also outlined plans for constructing houses for SDM and tehsil office employees in Arang, as well as expanding and renovating the Arang rest house. In response to MLA Guru Shri Khushwant Saheb's request, he approved Rs. 17 crore for constructing the Bhandarpuri Gurudwara premises.

He remarked that these buildings would enable SC girls to continue their education comfortably and bring honour to their parents and the state through their academic achievements. Addressing the gathering, Sai emphasised that education is the fundamental mantra of development—not just a means to secure employment, but the foundation of an ideal society.

The chief minister stated that good governance and development are his government's priorities. Despite being in power for only a few months, they have already taken steps to fulfil the guarantees given by PM Narendra Modi to the state's people. He mentioned that 211 schools in Chhattisgarh have been included in the PM Shri Yojana, with each school receiving a budget of Rs. 2 crore from the Central Government to improve educational quality and teacher availability.

Minister Ramvichar Netam addressed the gathering, highlighting the government's firm commitment to the betterment, upliftment, and development of society under Vishnu Deo Sai’s leadership.He expressed delight at the approval for constructing buildings for 180 hostels that previously lacked proper facilities. Tenders worth Rs. 210 crore have been issued for 121 of these buildings, with tenders for the remaining 69 being uploaded.

He added that the government is working on maintaining and upgrading existing hostels to ensure a conducive study environment for students. He mentioned that the state government has opened 3,757 hostels and ashrams for ST-SC categories with 197,000 seats, and new Eklavya schools across the state. These hostels and ashrams will provide admission to SC female students, offering well-equipped dormitories, computer rooms, classrooms, dining halls, and an adequate number of toilets and bathrooms.
