Chhattisgarh CM reaches out to citizens in Bhent-Mulaqat campaign

The initiative involves Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel soliciting feedback on the implementation of government schemes and inquired about villagers' problems and complaints

The Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan of Bhupesh Baghel has proved to be a boon for Mohini Kaushik of Behtarai village of Sakri tehsil. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, now the treatment of diabetes for little Mohini is going well.

The Bhent-Mulaqat campaign involves the Chief Minister meeting people of the state as well as solving their problems.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, fulfilled a promise made to Pramod Kaushik, a resident of village Behatrai in Sakri tehsil, during the Bhent-Mulaqat programme held on January 18 in Khairi village of Takhatpur assembly.

Kaushik had asked the Chief Minister to help fund for his daughter Mohini Kaushik's education and health care. During the Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel solicited feedback on the implementation of government schemes and inquired about villagers' problems and complaints.

Kaushik revealed at the time that his 10-year-old daughter has diabetes. This necessitates the use of insulin on a regular basis. He had requested cooperation from the Chief Minister in the treatment of the disease.

In response, Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel,had assured him of better treatment. The Chief Minister, taking Mohini's problem seriously, directed the health department team to provide proper health facilities and better treatment.

Mohini has Type-1 Diabetes (Diabetes Mellitus). Due to the increased sugar levels in this disease, regular insulin is required. Mohni was referred to the district hospital's District Early Intervention Center (DEIC) by the Takhatpur R.B.S.K. team. While providing treatment and counselling, the District Hospital and D.E.I.C. team ensures that Mohini has access to insulin.
