Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel engaged in a direct conversation with the youth of the Bastar division today, at the Government Kakatiya PG College Ground, Dharampura in Jagdalpur, for nearly 3 hours.
Baghel engaged in direct interaction with the youth who hailed from various districts within the Bastar division, including Bastar, North Bastar Kanker, Dantewada, Bijapur, Sukma, Narayanpur, and Kondagaon. During this interactive session, Chief Minister discussed the 'Gadhbo Nava Chhattisgarh' (Build New Chhattisgarh) initiative with the youth. The enthusiasm among the youth of the Bastar division to meet the Chief Minister was quite evident.
The Chief Minister expressed the unwavering commitment of the state government to foster progress and development in the Naxal-affected Bastar division. "I am genuinely delighted to have engaged in face-to-face interaction with the youth representing seven districts of the Bastar division today. Throughout this programme, the youth also shared valuable insights and suggestions", he said.
The Chief Minister assured swift action on various demands and issues raised by the youth. He granted approval for the construction of a compound at Government College Bhopalpatnam in the Bijapur district. Furthermore, he announced the establishment of a Wrestling Academy in Kondagaon and the opening of an Agricultural College in Sukma from the next academic year.

Nishad, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA) Mithlesh Swarnakar, Vice Chairman of Indravati Basin Development Authority Rajiv Sharma, Mayor of Jagdalpur Smt. Safira Sahu, Chief Minister's Secretary Dr. S. Bharatidasan, Bastar Commissioner Shyam Dhawde, Inspector General of Police Bastar Range Sundararaj P., Collector Vijay Dayaram, and other public representatives.
