State's innovations leading the country by example

The Chief Minister said that new innovations in Chhattisgarh have become examples in the country. CM Baghel said that arrangements have been made for input assistance under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana so that farmers can get the right price. Today, the farmers of Chhattisgarh are getting the highest price for their produce in the country.

Under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana, by purchasing cow dung and cow urine from farmers, fertilizers and pesticides are being made from them. Gauthans are being constructed in every village and they are being upgraded as rural industrial parks. Small processing units for pulses, oil, and mini rice are being set up in these areas.

Along with manufacturing organic manure from cow dung in Gothans, the state has started producing electricity from cow dung. Apart from this, manufacturing natural paint and gulal from cow dung has also been started.

Baghel said that the government wants to make the villagers not just consumers, but also producers. He added that villages in Chhattisgarh are being developed as production centres and those products are being sold in the cities. For this, C-Mart has been established.

Eradicating Naxalism

Regarding the changes in Bastar, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that his government has worked on the strategy of development, trust and security in the state to root out Naxalism.

Formulated policies to raise income, employment and standard of living by setting their priorities. Plans and programs were implemented on the basis of these policies.

He said 65 types of minor forest produce are procured in Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh is at the forefront of the country in terms of collection of minor forest produce. By adding value to these minor forest produce at the local level, we are also creating employment opportunities for the tribals

The Millets Mission was launched in the state to promote the collection, production and processing of millets. The state also declared the support price of Kodo and Kutki.

Millets are processed locally before being sold in the markets of the country and the world. This has increased the income of tribal farmers. The country's largest unit for millet processing has been started in the Kanker district.

Chief Minister Baghel said that Mahua Laddu is being prepared in Sukma, whose demand is up in Britain. The demand for Tikhur Shake of Kondagaon is coming from Dubai.

Bastar, which was earlier known as Naxalism, today its products are becoming its identity. Tamarind candy is being prepared in Sukma. Flower brooms are being prepared in Narayanpur and are being sent to metropolitan cities. Danex Garment Factory has been set up in Dantewada.

Today reverse migration is happening in Chhattisgarh, CM Baghel said.

Basic facilities have been developed in the villages. To increase health facilities, schemes like Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Yojna, Mukhyamantri Slum Swasthya Yojna, Dai-Didi Clinic Yojna, Shri Dhanwantri Generic Medical Stores Yojna are being implemented. Atmanand schools have been opened for quality education.
