BJP leaders on Friday submitted a memorandum to Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra highlighting several issues, including alleged poor law and order situation and atrocities against women and Dalits, in the state.
According to a Raj Bhavan spokesperson, the governor forwarded the memorandum to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and asked him to take effective and time-bound action on the points raised in it.
State BJP president Chandra Prakash Joshi, Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Assembly Rajendra Rathore and several other MPs and MLAs were part of the delegation.
Talking to reporters outside the Raj Bhavan after giving the memorandum to the Governor, Rathore said the governor has assured the delegation of taking appropriate action.
Before leaving for the Raj Bhavan, the party leaders held a meeting at the BJP office.
