The AAP’s top executive body met on Monday ahead of a legislature party meeting on Tuesday to select a new chief minister for Delhi.
After a meeting of the AAP’s political affairs committee, Delhi minister Saurabh Bharadwaj told reporters: “Today he (Kejriwal) has sought time from LG sahab to resign and he has got time tomorrow (Tuesday) evening. Today on this development, CM Arvind Kejriwal, who is also the national convener of AAP, had called a PAC meeting, in which senior party leaders and all the cabinet ministers were present.
The CM discussed about the new chief minister one-to-one with all the present leaders and ministers.”
