Mey or chele somman somman eta ekdom e na, mey kintu chele der theke besi (It's not that girls and boys are equal, in fact girls are more than boys). My son has to know that the respect he gives me as a mother is what he has to give other girls as well. There is a mother in every girl, respect has to be given. Today I am here with my son as I want to show him that an incident like this has happened and in future he knows what is right and what is wrong” Sweety Goswami, a 27 year old woman from Mukundapur told The Telegraph Online.

The presence of well-known content creators alongside ordinary citizens showed that the fight for justice is not limited to the courtroom anymore. It has spilled onto the streets.
