Prime Minister Narendra Modi termed the Opposition's INDIA alliance as 'ghamandia' (arrogant), and alleged that it wants to destroy Sanatan Dharma and push the country into 'a thousand years' slavery.' The Congress hit back at Modi after he dubbed the INDIA bloc parties as 'ghamandia', accusing him of using a government function to abuse the opposition.

Several INDIA bloc parties slammed the BJP for holding 'celebrations' to mark the success of the G20 Summit on a day security personnel were killed by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, with the Congress saying that no matter what happens, Prime Minister Narendra Modi cannot postpone receiving accolades. The Congress called the prime minister 'insensitive' and shared videos of mourning family members of a deceased soldier and Prime Minister Modi being given a rousing welcome at the BJP headquarters.

The Kerala government said there was no need to be apprehensive about the Nipah outbreak in Kozhikode district, but caution needs to be exercised by people as they go about their daily activities. Former Health Minister and senior ruling CPI(M) MLA K K Shailaja says Kerala has nothing to worry about the Nipah outbreak as the situation is not as scary as it was in 2018. A holiday has been declared in Kozhikode for all educational institutions on September 14, 15 in the wake of the outbreak.

The Biden administration has assured the Indian government of a quick investigation into the death of Indian student Jaahnavi Kandula in Seattle after being struck by a speeding police patrol car and bringing to justice the police officers who were responsible for it. Kandula was killed in January after she was struck by a police vehicle driven by Officer Kevin Dave.

Jammu and Kashmir Police said it has 'encircled' two Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorists in Anantnag district where three security officers were killed in an encounter. Anti-Pakistan protests were held in various parts of the Jammu city against the killing. Scores of people turned up at the residences of Colonel Manpreet Singh and Major Ashish Dhonchak to mourn the loss with some saying the Army should give a befitting reply to the ultras for the cowardly act.

Chaos reigned supreme at the Assam assembly as Opposition MLAs demonstrated, demanding a discussion over the allegation that a company linked to CM Himanta Biswa Sarma's wife got Rs 10 crore as subsidy under a central scheme. Sarma said he was willing to accept any punishment, including retirement from public life, if there is any evidence that his wife has received or claimed any amount from the government of India and threatened to move court against Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi.

Seeing the success of ISRO's numerous missions, as many as 23 companies have evinced interest in acquiring the Indian space agency's Small Satellite Launch Vehicle technology. Chairman of Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) Pawan K Goenka said that they are keen to see how the private sector uses the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) technology.

Adani Group said it has formed a 50:50 joint venture with Japanese conglomerate Kowa Group for sale of green hydrogen in Japan, Taiwan and Hawaii markets. Adani already is the largest renewable energy producer and for the green hydrogen project, it plans to expand its solar module manufacturing capabilities at Mundra SEZ in Gujarat to up to 10 GW per annum.
