Forty-eight private schools in Bengaluru received an email with a bomb threat on its premises, triggering panic among the staff and parents, police said. The students and staff were immediately evacuated from the school premises, police said, adding no suspicious objects have been found yet and prima facie, it looks like it's a hoax message.

Aviation turbine fuel (ATF) price was cut by Rs 5,189.25, or 4.6 per cent, in the national capital to Rs 1,06,155.67 per kl from Rs 1,11,344.92, according to a price notification of state-owned fuel retailers.

Arvind Kumar (28), Tala Soren alias Kallu (45), and Devi Prasad (30) were fixing the fault in one of the signal poles when suddenly two trains -- Cochin Express and Barauni Express -- came on both the up and down tracks, police said.

The victim is safe and being treated at a hospital for multiple bone fractures, as well as lacerations and injuries covering his entire body, said prosecutor Joe McCulloch.
