Several NIA teams swooped down on as many as 44 locations in Padgha-Borivali, Thane, Mira Road and Pune in Maharashtra, and Bengaluru in Karnataka early morning, and apprehended the 15 accused for allegedly promoting terror and terror-related acts and activities of the proscribed organisation, the official said.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin announced Rs 6,000 cyclone relief to people affected by cyclone Michaung. The assistance to people, whose livelihoods were affected by the cyclone, would be paid in cash by the government at the ration shops, the government said in an official release.
Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy launched two schemes - free bus travel for women and health insurance of Rs 10 lakh to the poor - which are part of the six poll 'guarantees' announced by the Congress.
