Congress MLA Mamman Khan has been arrested in connection with the July 31 Nuh violence case as the administration imposed prohibitory orders under section 144 in the district and suspended mobile Internet services for two days. Security has been tightened across the district, especially in and around the court complex in Nuh where Khan is expected to be produced by the police later in the day, sources said.

Eleven persons, mostly school-going children and women, went missing after a boat with around 30 people capsized near Madhur Patti ghat on September 14 morning when it was on the way to Bhattgama ghat on the opposite side.
