Prime Minister Narendra Modi is celebrating his 74th birthday on Tuesday, September 17. President Droupadi Murmu, several chief ministers and Bharatiya Janata Party leaders greeted the Prime Minister.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Governor Acharya Devvrat, several state ministers and other leaders met Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Tuesday morning to wish him on his 74th birthday.
To mark his 74th birthday, PM Modi will inaugurate 26 lakh houses built under PM Awas Yojana at Gadakana in Odisha's Bhubaneswar.

Union home minister Amit Shah, on the PM's birthday, hailed him for "bringing positive changes in the lives of the countrymen through his tireless hardwork, perseverance and foresight".

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday hailed Narendra Modi as the "'sarathi' (charioteer) of India's Amrit Kaal" as he extended his wishes on the prime minister's 74th birthday.
"Heartfelt birthday wishes to the Honourable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji, the world's most popular leader, tirelessly working to make the lives of 140 crore Indians prosperous, the visionary behind 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat,' and our guiding force," Adityanath said in a post in Hindi on X. He said that under PM Modi's leadership, "the underprivileged have received priority" and "democracy is strengthening day by day".
"Every moment of your life, dedicated to the sacred spirit of 'Nation First', the vow of 'Antyodaya' (uplifting the last person), and the goal of 'Viksit Bharat-Aatmanirbhar Bharat' (Developed India - Self-reliant India), is an inspiration to us all," the Uttar Pradesh CM said.

Union defence minister Rajnath Singh, while wishing PM Modi on his birthday, called him the "successful Prime Minister of India".
"Many congratulations and best wishes to the successful Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, on his birthday. Not only India but the whole world has seen and experienced his farsighted and strong leadership. Modiji has led the country with full readiness, concentration and asceticism and is still doing so," wrote Rajnath Singh on X.

Kangana Ranaut took to her Instagram handle to wish PM Narendra Modi on his birthday. Share a picture with the PM, where she is seen shaking hands with him, the actress and politician wrote, "Happy Birthday to the greatest leader".
JP Nadda
BJP chief JP Nadda praised PM Modi's leadership as an "inspiration for millions of BJP workers".
"I extend my heartiest congratulations on his birthday to respected Narendra Modi ji, the successful Prime Minister, who has dedicated every moment to realising the mantra of 'Antyodaya', dedicated to the service of the nation and the upliftment of the people," the BJP chief wrote.
Eknath Shinde
Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde also extended birthday greetings to PM Modi, wishing him "good health and long life".
"Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India is moving towards becoming an economic superpower, I wish the strength to fulfill his resolve of a developed India by 2047.
I want to say that the 21st Century is India's century because the captain of the country is Prime Minister Modi. I wish a very happy birthday," CM Shinde said.

Odisha Governor Raghubar Das on Tuesday greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday. Extending his best wishes to the PM on the occasion of his birth anniversary on X, Das said, “Our nation will achieve new heights of development and progress under the visionary leadership of Hon'ble PM, Viksit Bharat.”

President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday and wished that his innovative efforts pave the way to make India a developed nation.

Greeting Narendra Modi on his 74th birthday, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Tuesday said the prime minister has firmly set the country on a trajectory towards a developed India by 2047.
In a post on X, the vice president said Modi, in governance for over two decades, and as prime minister for over a decade, has aroused the soul of Bharat, stimulated its cultural values, nurtured its civilisational ethos.
He said the prime minister has firmly set the country on the "unprecedented developmental trajectory" "With new insights and resolute will, may you continue to lead Bharat for many years to come! Pray almighty to give you the strength and be blessed with good health," Dhankhar wrote.
Apart from the BJP leaders, several opposition leaders such as Revanth Reddy, Abhishek Banerjee and Arvind Kejriwal wished Modi on his 74th birthday. Their messages were mellowed in tone.
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said, "I extend my heartfelt wishes to the Hon'ble Prime Minister on his birthday. May he be blessed with good health, strength, and wisdom to continue leading our nation towards progress and prosperity."
Abhishek Banerjee, TMC heir apparent and the national general secretary, posted on X: "Warm birthday greetings to Honorble PM Narendra Modi ji. Wishing you good health and happiness.”
While Arvind Kejriwal said in a post on X in Hindi, "Heartiest wishes to honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji on his birthday. I wish you a long and healthy life."
