Floods create havoc in several parts of India

Rains bring relief after the sultry summer and provide the much-needed fodder for our crops. But sometimes, when the sky opens up, it can take a dangerous turn, one that we fear. This monsoon season has not been kind to some states like Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Odisha and others where close to 50 people have lost their lives.
