Chhath Puja celebrations around the globe
Chhath Puja is a Hindu festival that is dedicated to Lord Sun. It is a four day affair, where devotees gather at river banks, ponds, lake or some waterbody to take dip and offer argha to the sun twice. Once at dawn and again at dusk. It is hugely popular among Purvanchalis, and mostly celebrated in states of Bihar, Jharkhand and eastern Uttar Pradesh. However, other parts of India such as Calcutta, Delhi, Mumbai celebrated too.
