Vicky Kaushal’s Kapil and Sara Ali Khan’s Soumya are on the brink of ending their love-hate marriage, becoming the centre of attention for their middle-class Indore-based family in the trailer of the upcoming comedy drama Zara Hatke Zara Bachke.
Dropped by Maddock Films on Monday, the Pankaj Tripathi-narrated two-minute-20-second-long trailer begins with Kapil and Somya tying the knot in a traditional ceremony. Their wedding is followed by a series of arguments between the couple, leading them to the decision of seeking a divorce. But there is a twist — while the two argue in front of others, they still get intimate with each other in private.
“Iss baar, saari hadein hongi paar, jab divorce hoga sahparivaar. 🫢,” Vicky wrote alongside the trailer on Instagram,

The trailer is packed with glimpses of several dance sequences and some candid moments of the couple as they hatch a plan for their divorce.
Directed by Laxman Utekar of Luka Chuppi and Mimi fame, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke is produced by Maddock Films chief Dinesh Vijan. Apart from the leads, the film also stars Rakesh Bedi, Sharib Hashmi and Neeraj Sood.
Zara Hatke Zara Bachke will arrive in cinemas on June 2.
