Your Place Or Mine
Netflix has released the official trailer for its upcoming American romantic comedy film Your Place Or Mine. Written and directed by Aline Brosh McKenna, the romcom stars Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher in lead roles alongside Jesse Williams, Tig Notaro, Zoë Chao and Wesley Kimmel.
The two-minute-48-second-long trailer focuses on single mother Debbie (Witherspoon) who lives in LA. Her long-time friend Peter (Kutcher) visits her place to take care of Debbie’s son when she decides to spend her vacation alone in New York. During the vacation and spending time in Peter’s apartment, Debbie comes to the realisation that Peter harbours romantic feelings for her.
Your Place Or Mine will be streaming on Netflix from February 10.
Sharper
The official trailer of Apple TV’s upcoming heist thriller Sharper is out. Directed by Benjamin Caron, the film stars Julianne Moore, Sebastian Stan, Justice Smith, Briana Middleton and John Lithgow.
In the two-minute-11-second-long trailer, we see a con man, Max (Stan), whose mother (Moore) has recently entered into a relationship with a billionaire (Lithgow). The trailer revolves around schemes hatched by Max and his accomplice (Middleton) to implicate the billionaire and his heir for a huge payday.
Sharper will arrive on Apple TV+ on February 18.
Somebody I Used to Know
Amazon Prime Video has shared the official trailer of its upcoming American romantic comedy film Somebody I Used to Know. Directed by actor-turned-director Dave Franco, the romcom stars Alison Brie, Jay Ellis and Kiersey Clemons.
The two-minute-21-second-long trailer follows Ally (Brie), who suddenly meets her ex-boyfriend Sean (Ellis) on a trip to her hometown. She also meets Sean’s fiance, Cassidy, who is younger and reminds her of the person she used to be. The two women hit off immediately and form a connection.
Somebody I Used to Know will be streaming on Prime Video from February 10.
Lockwood & Co.
Netflix released the official trailer of British detective thriller television series Lockwood & Co. Written and directed by Joe Cornish, the eight-episode show, which is based on Jonathan Stroud’s book series of the same name, stars Ruby Stokes, Cameron Chapman, Ali Hadji-Heshmati, Ivanno Jeremiah and Luke Treadaway.
The synopsis of the series reads, “In London, where the most gifted teenage ghost-hunters venture nightly into perilous combat with deadly spirits, amidst the many corporate, adult-run agencies, one stands alone: independent of any commercial imperative or adult supervision — a tiny startup, run by two teenage boys and a newly arrived, supremely psychically gifted girl, a renegade trio destined to unravel a mystery that will change the course of history.”
Lockwood & Co. will arrive on Netflix on January 27.
