Indian rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh looks back at his music career in the trailer of his upcoming Netflix documentary Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous, dropped by the streamer on Tuesday.

The two-minute-16-second-long video explores the early life, success and struggles of Honey Singh. In the trailer, he shares his inspiring journey from a humble beginning to achieving stardom. He also recalls living in a house without windows for 24 years.

Salman Khan makes a brief appearance in the trailer. He praises Honey Singh’s unique style, saying, “His USP is being Yo Yo Honey Singh.”

The video also explores Honey Singh’s downfall, focusing on the controversies he got embroiled in.

The trailer ends on a high note, showcasing how Honey Singh overcame his darkest moments.

Sharing the trailer on his Instagram, the rapper wrote. “Yo Yo Honey Singhaaaa🤘A name that echoes through the industry -but what’s the story?

Find out in Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous arriving on 20th December, only on Netflix.”

Directed by Mozez Singh and backed by Sikhya Entertainment, the documentary promises to offer an exclusive look into the life of the artiste, revealing the real Honey aka Hirdesh Singh, the man behind the headlines.

Yo Yo Honey Singh’s latest release is the single Payal, which features actress Nora Fatehi. The artiste is also gearing up for the release of his upcoming single Rooh, set to release this December.
