Following the abduction of Anchal Singh’s Purva Awasthi at the end of Season 1, Tahir Raj Bhasin’s Vikrant continues his struggle to break free from Purva’s control and settle down with his true love, Shikha (Shweta Tripathi), in the trailer of Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein Season 2, dropped by Netflix on Wednesday.
The two-minute-eight-second-long trailer picks up where the Season 1 ended, with the narrative delving deeper into the web of love and obsession. It begins with scenes of Purva being kidnapped and Vikrant expressing his distress over her trapping him in a toxic relationship and not letting him be with his true love, Shikha.
When Vikrant comes in contact with Purva’s kidnapper, he wishes for her death. Wrought with a fear of her return, Vikrant sets out to find Purva and kill her while she’s vulnerable.
Adding to the suspense is Gurmeet Choudhary, who introduces himself as Purva’s friend. The new character seems poised to disrupt the fragile dynamics between Vikrant, Purva and Shikha.
Season 2 promises a thrilling blend of psychological manipulation, high-octane action and a deep dive into the extremes of love and power, all set against the backdrop of Purva’s powerful political family.
“Tahir Raj Bhasin, Anchal Singh, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, and Gurmeet Choudhary return in Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein!
