Sunday morning witnessed a flurry of activity at Muktangan Rangalaya with Team Lost kicking off its shoot at the Kalighat address.

Led by Yami Gautam, who first arrived at the location in a pretty pink salwar suit and then changed into a simple yellow kurta, armed with a leather backpack and with her hair left loose, to slip into the skin of the investigative journalist that she plays in the Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury-directed film, Lost also stars Rahul Khanna and Pankaj Kapur in pivotal roles.

Described by the director as an ‘emotional love thriller’, the first day of Lost — which marks his second Hindi film after 2016’s Pink — witnessed Yami canning some shots in the latter half of the day, with actor Pia Bajpiee also being present on the sets to shoot some scenes.

To be shot in Calcutta and Purulia in a start-to-finish schedule, Lost also includes some well-known faces from the city’s acting fraternity, including Suman Mukhopadhyay, Arindam Sil, Sohag Sen and Koushik Sen.
