Suyash “Chunky” Pandey is a happy father. The Aankhen actor’s daughter Ananya Pandey beat at least 1,000 competitors to grab a role in Student of The Year 2, said the proud father.

Ananya will soon be debuting as one of the lead girls in Dharma Production’s sequel to Student of The Year, opposite Tiger Shroff. And the actor cannot stop beaming about it.

“Yes, it was exciting!” says Chunky seeing the poster that featured Ananya.

“Of course, I had already known that she was doing the film. She had auditioned for the film last year. I believe they auditioned around 1,000 girls and she was selected. I am very lucky. I hope people like her in the movie, and like the movie. The film should work, that’s most important,” he adds.

Good news doesn’t seem to end there for the Pandey family, with Chunky’s nephew Ahaan Pandey set to make a debut as well.

Ahaan has been fast rising as one of the most-followed Indian youngsters on social media.

His good looks have been getting him a lot of attention and it appears an announcement might be coming up soon that too from Yash Raj Films.

“I think so. I can’t talk about it, but it will be good,” Chunky says when asked if Ahaan would make a debut with the YRF.

“He is my nephew but he is like my son. He is very popular right now on social media. And wherever I go these days, young girls come and ask me to introduce them to him. And soon there is going to be an announcement of his debut film. He is a very hard-working boy. I get excited when people talk about Ananya and Ahaan. Whatever I couldn’t do in my life, my children will,” he says.

The actor himself is now working on Housefull 4, where he will reprise his role of Aakhri Pasta.
