Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi recently recreated Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty’s iconic shoulder-rotate step while dancing with his friends to the beats of the hit Phir Hera Pheri track Aye Meri Zohrajabeen, prompting reactions from actress-dancer Nora Fatehi and musician Yashraj Mukhate.

Sharing the funny dance reel on Instagram on Sunday, Siddhant wrote, “Pick your favourite #MeetMyGang #LaundaMasti.”

The actor’s friends also recreated the steps performed by Bipasha Basu and Rimi Sen in the original video, which featured Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav and Paresh Rawal alongside Akshay and Suniel.

Siddhant and his friends even added a few of their own steps to make the video more amusing.

Directed by Neeraj Vora, Phir Hera Pheri is the second instalment in the Hera Pheri franchise. The movie picks up where the original film, Hera Pheri (2000), ended. The lives of Raju (Akshay Kumar), Shyam (Suniel Shetty) and Babu Bhaiya (Paresh Rawal) are turned upside down when they get cheated by a fraudster, Anuradha (Bipasha Basu). They must now find another way to repay the money borrowed from a dreaded gangster, Tiwari (Sharat Saxena). Released on June 9, 2006, Phir Hera Pheri emerged as the eighth highest-grossing film of the year, earning over Rs 69 crore worldwide.

Siddhant was last seen in Ravi Udyawar’s Yudhra opposite Malavika Mohanan. The 31-year-old actor has Shazia Iqbal’s romance drama Dhadak 2 in the pipeline. Backed by Karan Johar, the film will feature Siddhant opposite Triptii Dimri.
