Actress Wamiqa Gabbi has thanked her Fursat co-star Ishaan Khatter and members of the dance team for helping her to learn a new dance form in the short film directed by Vishal Bhardwaj.
In a rehearsal video shared on Instagram by the actress, Wamiqa is seen practising a dance routine with Ishann for one of the songs from the musical fantasy short film. Master choreographer Shiamak Davar helmed the dance sequences of Fursat.
“I have no idea how I managed to learn a new dance form in 8-9 days,” Wamiqa wrote in the caption and went on to thank her dance team members Shiamak Davar, Puneet Cheema, Aneesha Dalal and Kruti Wesley.
Wamiqa also added a sweet thank-you note for Ishaan. “Thank you Ishaan for never complaining even after lifting me up 1000 times a day,” she mentioned in the post.
Shot on iPhone 14 Pro, Fursat follows a young man, Nishant (Ishaan), who can see the future. The 30-minute-long film is complete with an original soundtrack from Bhardwaj with lyrics by Gulzar. Fursat is currently available to stream on YouTube.
Wamiqa previously played the role of Annu Lal in Kabir Khan’s 83 and will be next seen in Bharadwaj’s neo-noir spy thriller Khufiya alongside Tabu and Ali Fazal.
