Actress Wamiqa Gabbi on Sunday dropped a set of behind-the-scenes pictures and videos from the sets of her 2023 drama series Jubilee featuring her co-star Sidhant Gupta to mark its one-year anniversary.
Both Wamiqa and Sidhant prepare for a shot inside a vintage car in one of the pictures, while a video in the next slide shows Wamiqa wearing a green A-line dress and dancing along to the Jubilee song Babuji Bhole Bhaale, leaving Sidhant totally confused. “Shot ready hai (The shot is ready),” Sidhant says towards the end as Wamiqa dances towards the sets.
Another picture features the silhouettes of the on-screen couple in a pink background. Wamiqa also shared a hilarious video in which she sings the song Achha Ji Main Haari Chalo in a vintage car with Sidhant, with the latter repeatedly adding the word na from the lyrics to annoy her.
Sharing the pictures and videos on Instagram, Wamiqa, who was also part of the girl gang in Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan in 2023, wrote in the caption, “2. Jay ♥️ Niloufer. #1YearOfJubilee.”
Set in the golden age of Hindi cinema, Jubilee delves into the enchanting 1940s dominated by talkies. It follows the story of a man determined to become the nation’s next superstar, leading to unforeseen outcomes during his pursuit of his dreams, passion, ambition and love.
Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, Jubilee is currently available to watch on Amazon Prime Video. The period drama also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparshakti Khurana and Prosenjit Chatterjee in key roles.
