The teaser of Vishnu Manchu-starrer Kannappa starring Mohan Babu, Mohanlal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar was released by the makers on Friday.
The historical drama also features Preity Mukundhan, Sarathkumar, Kajal Aggarwal in key roles.
The teaser, packed with battle scenes, showcases Vishnu Manchu in dynamic action sequences and offers brief glimpses of Mohanlal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal’s characters. With stunning visuals, elaborate set designs, and compelling performances, the teaser hints at an epic narrative rich in mythology.
“Immerse yourselves in the action-packed world of '𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐚' as we take you on an adventurous journey of ultimate devotion and sacrifice.,” the official handle of the film wrote on X alongside the teaser, which was released in five languages — Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa depicts the legendary tale of Bhakta Kannappa, a devoted follower of Shiva, focusing on his ultimate sacrifice for the deity.
Stephen Devassy has composed the music for the film produced under the banner of 24 Frames Factory & AVA Entertainment. The release date of Kannappa has not yet been announced by the makers.
