Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming film, starring Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri, will release on December 5 next year, the makers announced on Wednesday.

“#SajidNadiadwala presents a @VishalBhardwaj film! 🎬🔥A spectacular cinematic journey begins on 6th Jan 2025 🎬🔥Film releasing on 5th December 2025 🎬,” Sajid Nadiawala’s production house Nadiawala Grandson wrote on X.

Touted as a “high-octane action commercial entertainer”, the yet-to-be-titled film also features Nana Patekar and Randeep Hooda in key roles.

Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj are coming back together after 15 years. They previously worked on films like Kaminey (2009), Haider (2014), and Rangoon (2017).

Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Ulja Jiya alongside Kriti Sanon, while Tripti Dimri’s most recent appearance was in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, currently streaming on Netflix.

Nana Patekar is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming Anil Sharma-directed film Vanvaas, slated to hit theatres on December 20.
