Fardeen Khan has reunited with his 2007 comedy drama Heyy Babyy co-star Riteish Deshmukh for JioCunema’s Visfot, set to hit the streamer on September 6, the makers announced on Sunday.

“Get ready for the biggest explosion on your screen. Visfot streaming 6 September onwards, exclusively on JioCinema Premium,” they wrote on Instagram, sharing a poster of the crime thriller.

While Kookie Gulati serves as the director of Visfot, the screenplay is developed by Abbas Dalal and Hussain Dalal.

Produced by Anuradha Gupta and Sanjay Rajprakash Gupta under the banner of White Feather Films, Visfot also stars Priya Bapat, Krystle D'Souza, Riddhi Dogra, Mahesh Manjrekar, Seema Biswas, Jisshu Sengupta, Sheeba Chaddha, Rohit Roy, Arjun Aneja, Purnendu Bhattacharya and Parth Siddhpura in supporting roles.

Later in the day, the makers also shared the trailer of the upcoming film, offering a glimpse of the gritty Mumbai underworld. Fardeen plays a slum dweller, surviving in one of the city’s most challenging neighbourhoods. In stark contrast, Riteish appears dressed in a pilot’s uniform, embodying a life of privilege and high status. However, a tangled web of deceit, a tragic explosion and the abduction of Riteish’s son cause their paths to intersect. As their lives become increasingly intertwined, chaos ensues, threatening a tragic and uncertain end.

Earlier in the year, Fardeen had co-starred with another of his Heyy Babyy co-star, Akshay Kumar, in Khel Khel Mein helmed by Mudassar Aziz. The actor recently made his comeback with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Netflix show Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar after a 14-year hiatus.

Riteish was last seen in Aditya Sarpotdar’s Kakuda, alongside Sonakshi Sinha and Saqib Saleem. Riteish is all set to star in and direct Raja Shivaji, a bilingual historical drama film based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji.
