Actor Vikrant Massey is set to collaborate with debutant director Niranjan Iyengar for a film adapted from a Ruskin Bond short story.
Produced by Mini Films, helmed by Mansi and Varun Bagla, the new film will be a love story. “The script has turned out beautifully. I’m excited to work with my dream team of uber-talented Vikrant Massey and Niranjan Iyengar on this unique love story,” said Mansi.
Vikrant was last seen in the Prime Video series Made in Heaven. He made a guest appearance in the show. The actor will be next seen in a leading role in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s upcoming film 12th Fail.
First-time filmmaker Niranjan has long been associated with the film industry as a well-known screenwriter and lyricist. He has written the screenplays for hit Bollywood films like My Name is Khan, Kurbaan, Wake Up Sid, Student of the Year and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Mini Films previously produced 2022’s Hindi-language psychological thriller film Forensic, which featured Vikrant Massey, Radhika Apte, Prachi Desai and Rohit Roy in lead roles.
