“Nothing short of a blessing…We named him VARDAAN,” Vikrant captioned his post.

The picture shows Vikrant and Sheetal twinning in pink and smiling while they gaze at their newborn child. The baby boy can be seen nestled in Sheetal’s lap.

The new parents also shared a picture of a toy with the name ‘Vardaan’ imprinted on it.

Earlier this month, the couple had shared a note announcing the birth of their child. “For we have become one. We are bursting with joy and love to announce the arrival of our son. Love Sheetal and Vikrant,” they wrote.

Vikrant’s 12th Fail co-star Medha Shankr congratulated the couple in the comments section along with other Bollywood celebrities like Raashii Khanna, Mouni Roy and Vaani Kapoor.

Vikrant had announced in September last year that they are expecting their first child.

The actor was last seen in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 12th Fail, which chronicles the life of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma who overcame poverty and cracked UPSC. It was released in theatres on October 27 last year.

After its OTT release on December 29, the film acquired the topmost position on IMDb’s list of highest-rated Indian movies of all time, surpassing even Hollywood hits Oppenheimer and Barbie.

Vikrant will be next seen in The Sabarmati Report alongside Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra. According to IMDb’s official synopsis, the film showcases the events that took place on Sabarmati Express near the Godhra railway station in Gujarat on the morning of February 27, 2002.
