Disney+ Hotstar on Wednesday announced that Kamal Haasan’s Vikram: Hitlist will be available to stream from July 8 on the streaming platform in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

The announcement was accompanied by an exclusive video featuring the 67-year-old actor as the titular character Vikram.

The streaming service made the announcement on its social media handles. “A super hit addition to your watchlist coming soon! Vikram: Hitlist streaming from July 8 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. #VikramOnDisneyPlusHotstar,” read the tweet.

The announcement was accompanied by a stylised video featuring the protagonist of the film Vikram played by Kamal Haasan. The video was accompanied by an energetic track that amplifies the action thriller.

Helmed by Kaithi and Master director Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film features some of the finest actors from southern India. Apart from Kamal Hassan, the film stars Vijay Sethupathi, Suriya Sivakumar, Fahadh Faasil, Antony Varghese and Shivani Narayanan.

The Tamil-language film is produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International. Vikram: Hitlist’s soundtrack and background score is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

Vikram: Hitlist was theatrically released on June 3 as Vikram, and it went on to become a smash hit, grossing over Rs 400 crore since its release.
