Tamannaah Bhatia, Kriti Sanon and the ensemble cast of Homi Adajania’s Netflix crime thriller Murder Mubarak — Sara Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Vijay Varma and Karisma Kapoor — attended a special premiere of the film on March 14. Here’s a look at who wore what to the event.
Pankaj Tripathi, who plays a jovial cop ACP Bhavani Singh in the crime thriller, greeted the crowd in a white kurta with a white shawl wrapped around his neck.
Vijay Varma posed for the lens in an oversized blue embroidered shirt with a frayed hemline. The quirky design featured a pair of 3D swans with yellow twig-like structures winding around them. Wide borders, a stiff collar and matching trousers completed the actor’s look.
Vijay’s girlfriend, actress Tamannaah Bhatia, attended the ceremony in an all-white ensemble. Tamannaah’s outfit — a halter neck sheer gown with intricate lace work and an oversized blazer — was a clear head-turner. The Lust Stories 2 actress wore her hair down and opted for dewy makeup.
Murder Mubarak marks Karisma Kapoor’s return to films after a break of more than 10 years. The 49-year-old actress looked gorgeous in a fit-and-flare pleated black dress with sequined borders, the layered neckline tapering into a sash down the waist. Quirky earrings, shimmery eye makeup and sleek hair completed her look.
Sara Ali Khan, who plays Bambi, Vijay’s love interest and a murder suspect in the film, dazzled in a floral off-shoulder column gown. The actress wore a necklace carrying the initials of her character in the film. Winged eyeliner and a bracelet in the shape of a snake enhanced the ensemble.
Tisca Chopra also opted for an all-white outfit. A knotted bralette paired with a metallic blazer made for a winning look. The actress opted for smoky eyes and a stone-studded brooch. A bun and minimal accessories kept the look fuss free.
Sanjay Kapoor looked dapper in a black leather jacket paired with black trousers and quirky shades.
Kriti Sanon, who is currently awaiting the release of Rajesh A Krishnan’s women-centric drama Crew, kept it chic in a blue hoodie. The actress styled her wavy tresses into a bob and opted for soft makeup to balance the look.
