In the second poster, Vijay holds a machete in his right hand. Blood trickles down a wound on his forehead and his shirt also appears soaked in blood.

A sequel to Vetri Maaran’s 2023 crime thriller of the same name, Viduthalai Part 2 is in the final stage of filming. Part 1 of the crime thriller, featuring Bhavani Sre, Rajiv Menon and Ilavarasu alongside Vijay, was released theatrically on March 31 last year. According to industry data-tracking site Sacnilk, Viduthalai Part 1 earned Rs 53 crore worldwide.
