Actor Vijay Deverakonda on Friday offered a glimpse of his fierce look for VD 12 in a new poster of the upcoming Gowtam Tinnauri directorial, set to release on March 28, 2025.
"His destiny awaits him. Mistakes. Bloodshed. Questions. Rebirth. 28 March, 2025," Deverakonda wrote alongside the poster that shows him flaunting a buzz cut and a thick beard.
Recently, Vijay, Gowtam, and the team traveled to Sri Lanka, where they filmed several sequences at Galle Fort.
On July 12, production house Sithara Entertainments urged fans not to share leaked images from the shoot and to wait for official announcements. The post read, "We share your excitement and enthusiasm! Team #VD12 is working hard to deliver an unforgettable theatrical experience. So far, we’ve completed 60% of the shoot and are currently filming in Sri Lanka."
The post further read, “For the past six months, we have been keeping details under wraps, preserving the first look for a red hot official unveiling, we kindly ask you to refrain from sharing leaks and wait for the official announcement, coming very soon.”
VD 12 is being jointly produced by Sithara Entertainment and Fortune Four Cinemas, with Srikara Studios presenting the film. The complete cast is yet to be announced. However, Bhagyashree Borse is likely to star opposite Vijay Deverakonda. Anirudh Ravichander will compose the background score of the film.
