Akdi Pakdi | Liger
Sony Music India dropped the foot-tapping video of Akdi Pakdi song from Puri Jagannadh’s highly anticipated sports action film Liger starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday.
Dharma Productions’ head Karan Johar shared the video on Twitter and said, “Time to show your moves to #LigerMassStep! Here’s the blockbuster track of the year #AKDIPAKDI!💥 Song out now -”
The song is released in five languages Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
In the two-minute-11-second video, Deverakonda and Ananya are seen riding a bike and their joyride transitions into the main chorus of the Akdi Pakdi song. Both the actors are dancing energetically on the track sung by Dev Negi, Pawni Pandey and Lijo George.
The Hookline written by Sunil Kashyap is fast catching on. The song is composed by Lijo George and Dj Chetas. Liger is produced by Dharma Productions and it marks the Bollywood debut of Telugu star Deverakonda.
Earlier Sony Music India released the teaser of the song on July 8. The film will release in theatres on August 25.

Ghar Waapsi
Disney+ Hotstar on Monday released the official trailer of their upcoming Hotstar Special Ghar Waapsi. The six-episode web series tells a millennial tale of the trials and joys of reconnecting with family and friends in a small town.
The streaming giants shared the trailer on Twitter and wrote, “Ghar wala sukoon ya joblessness wala guilt? Ek aadmi ki ekdum relatable story. #HotstarSpecials #GharWaapsi streaming from July 22.”
Directed by two-time National award-winning director and writer Ruchir Arun, Ghar Waapsi stars Vishal Vashishtha, Akanksha Thakur, Atul Srivastava, Vibha Chibber, Saad Bilgrami, and Anushka Kaushik. Ashwin Suresh serves as the showrunner in the series The show marks Disney+ Hotstar’s first association with Dice Media.
The series follows the Dwivedi family as they navigate life's uncertainties. The light-hearted family drama, which is set in Indore, depicts a middle-class family of five coming together as they gain insight into life, relationships, and goals from one another, offering a joyful journey of healing and finding purpose.
