Actor Vijay’s Tamil-language science-fiction film The Greatest of All Time will arrive in theatres worldwide on September 5, announced the makers on Thursday, dropping a poster of the movie featuring the release date.
“Thalapathy @actorvijay Sir ku whistle podu!! #TheGreatestOfAllTime will arrive on 5th Sept 2024! Keeping the #G.O.A.T updates coming!!,” they wrote on Instagram alongside the poster that mentions the release date as “September Fifth”.
The Leo star, who plays a dual role in the film helmed by Venkat Prabhu, also shared news on Instagram. He wears a formal shirt and glasses while appearing in a salt-and-pepper look in the poster.
Produced by Archana Kalpathi of AGS Entertainment, The Greatest of All Time features an ensemble cast including Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sneha, Laila, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal Ameer and Yogi Babu. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored music for the movie while Siddhartha Nuni has worked on the cinematography.
The Greatest of All Time was announced in May 2023 under the tentative title Thalapathy 68 followed by an official title in December 2023. “#Thalapathy with #IlayaThalapathy is #TheGreatestOfAllTime #Thalapathy68FirstLook,” the production banner had written on Instagram alongside a first-look poster of the film.
