Vidya Balan has heaped praise on Shefali Shah for her performance in her latest film Three of Us, released in theatres on November 3, saying that she has the “deepest admiration” for the latter as an actress.

“I don't know how to express myself, but about the performances, everyone is just fantastic. But Shefali…I don’t know what she does, how is it that every time she gets it bang on,” the 44-year-old actress said, adding, “God bless her, she is…just I have no words to express, I have the deepest admiration for Shefali as an actor.”

In the film, Shefali plays Shailja, a woman on a quest for closure from a childhood relationship. Helmed by Avinash Arun, Three of Us also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Swanand Kirkire.

Shefali, known for her roles in Darlings (2022) and Jalsa (2022), is currently awaiting the release of the highly-anticipated sequel to the Netflix crime-thriller series Delhi Crime 2.
