Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri bring back the charm of the 1990s with their vibrant costumes and quirky moves in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’s first song Tum Jo Mile Ho, dropped by T-Series on Thursday.
The two-minute-57-second-long music video opens with Rajkummar’s Vicky, a henna artist who is seen flirting with Triptii’s Vidya during a mehendi ceremony. The following scenes feature Vicky and Vidya romancing each other in a picturesque landscape. Triptii’s bright red sari contrasts beautifully with Rajkummar’s vibrant yellow kurta in romantic sequences. The video concludes with Vicky and Vidya dancing their hearts out at a wedding.
Sung by Vishal Mishra, Tum Jo Mile Ho has been composed by Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya. Priya Saraiya has written lyrics for the song.
On September 12, T-Series dropped a trailer of Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, set in 1997. The Raaj Shaandilyaa-directed film, also starring Mallika Sherawat and Vijay Raaz, is slated to hit theatres on October 11.
The movie also features Mast Ali, Archana Puran Singh, Mukesh Tiwari, Archana Patel, Rakesh Bedi, Tiku Talsania and Ashwini Kalsekar in key roles.
The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Raaj Shaandilyaa, Shobha Kapoor, Ekta R Kapoor, Vipul D Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl and Vimal Lahoti. It is set to clash with Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina’s Jigra at the box office.
