Actor Vicky Kaushal dropped a behind-the-scenes video of him and Sam Bahadur director Meghna Gulzar dancing in a gazebo to wish the latter on her 50th birthday on Wednesday, calling her the 'most hard-working' person on the sets.
“Here’s a little birthday dance with you Meghna… wish I could do it in person today,” he wrote on Instagram alongside the video.
Expressing his admiration for her diligence, he added, “Everyday on set I’d try to be the most hard-working person and everyday you’d beat me and everybody else to it. Will keep trying though…Happy Happy Birthday Sweetie…may you always keep inspiring people around you to give their absolute best!”
The 50-year-old filmmaker replied to the video with “you” followed by a blue heart. Several fans commented on the actor’s post praising the duo and their latest film.
Meghna and Vicky have collaborated on two projects so far — Raazi and Sam Bahadur. The latter, which premiered on December 1, is a biographical war drama film revolving around the life of India’s first field marshal, Sam Manekshaw.
Sam Bahadur has maintained a steady run at the box office despite facing stiff competition from the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal. The film also features Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra alongside Vicky Kaushal.
