Actors Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna have dropped fresh pictures in outfits they donned as showstoppers for Falguni Shane Peacock’s Rang Mahal collection at the closing show of India Couture Week 2024. Here’s a look.
Rashmika’s ivory lehenga encrusted with crystals perfectly complemented Vicky’s gold-toned sherwani suit. The actress’ minimal accessories and shimmery makeup further raised the glamour quotient.
Rashmika paired a cold-shoulder blouse with an intricately embroidered skirt. A dupatta draped across her left shoulder completed the ensemble. Vicky, on the other hand, sported an embroidered jacket with a white kurta and trousers.
The actors posed for a picture with the couturiers Falguni and Shane Peacock. “An evening spent in honouring and celebrating our cultural heritage... What stunning pieces you guys created. Hats off to the team,” read Vicky’s caption on Instagram.
According to the official website of fashion label Falguni Shane Peacock, the Rang Mahal collection celebrates India’s cultural diversity through symbols such as parrots, peacocks and palaces. Inspired by elements of India’s royal heritage, the collection features luxurious silks, rich velvet and intricate embroideries.
Work wise, Rashmika has Sukumar’s Pushpa 2, Sekhar Kammula’s Kubera and A.R. Murugadoss’ Sikandar in the pipeline. Vicky, who has been earning plaudits for his stellar dance moves in Anand Tiwari’s Bad Newz song Tauba Tauba, is set to headline Laxman Utekar’s upcoming historical biopic Chhaava.
