Actress Mouni Roy sets the dance floor on fire with her electrifying moves in the music video of the peppy item song Mummy Ji from the upcoming film Vedaa.
Dropped by the makers on Wednesday, the three-minute-14-second-long video showcases Mouni in a black-and-red mirror embellished outfit, grabbing the attention of intoxicated men. The track begins with a rap sequence followed by Mouni seducing people with her dynamic moves.
John Abraham makes an entry on his bike in the video. Subsequent scenes show him beating up goons. The music video ends with glimpses of his fight scenes with Sharvari Wagh from the movie.
Sung by Prajakta Shukre and Himani Kapoor, Mummy Ji is composed and penned by Manan Bhardwaj. The rap sequence of the song has been sung by Manan.
Vedaa follows John Abraham’s ex-army officer Major Abhimanyu Kanwar, who turns mentor for Sharvari’s Vedaa, a lower-caste oppressed woman, to help her seek justice. Abhishek Banerjee plays the antagonist, a man in power who inflicts pain on the poor. Tamannaah Bhatia also features in the movie as John’s love interest.
Directed by Nikkhil Advani, Vedaa is written by The Buckingham Murders and Mission Majnu writer Aseem Arrora. Produced by Zee Studios in collaboration with John Abraham, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Minnaskshi Das, Vedaa is slated to release in theatres on August 15.
