The makers of Baby John starring Varun Dhawan on Monday dropped the much-anticipated trailer for the action drama, promising a thrilling ride packed with action and emotion.

With a story developed by Atlee, this Hindi adaptation of the Tamil blockbuster Theri is set to release in theatres on December 25. It is directed by Khalees.

The three-minute-six-second long trailer opens with a powerful metaphor narrated by Varun's character to a young girl about a buffalo blocking a road. Viewers are then treated to high-octane action sequences featuring Varun Dhawan in two avatars — a roguish, vengeful man and a disciplined, no-nonsense cop. The emotional core of the trailer is Baby John's relationship with his daughter, who becomes his source of strength and motivation.

Keerthy Suresh appears in the trailer as Baby John's wife, while Wamiqa Gabbi plays a pivotal role in his life.

Ahead of the trailer release, the makers treated fans to two songs from the film — Nain Matakka and Pikley Pom. The dance number Nain Matakka, featuring Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh, became an instant hit. Pikley Pom showcased the heartwarming bond between Baby John and his daughter.

Produced by Jio Studios, Atlee, A for Apple Studios, and Cine1 Studios, Baby John also features an ensemble cast, including Jackie Shroff and Rajpal Yadav in key roles. Bollywood star Salman Khan is set to play a cameo in the movie.
