Actor Varun Dhawan shared a glimpse into the scripting session of his upcoming film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, also featuring Janhvi Kapoor, on Thursday.
Posting a picture of the script on his Instagram story, Varun wrote, “Nothing more exciting than a freshly printed script.” The Bhediya actor tagged his co-star Janhvi Kapoor and the film’s producer Karan Johar to the post.
Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the romantic comedy was announced by production house Dharma Productions on February 22. “Your Sanskari is on his way to get his Kumari. This love story wrapped with entertainment is coming to the big screens,” the makers captioned their Instagram post.
The teaser video revealed that Varun would essay the role of Sunny Sanskari in the film, while Janhvi would star as Tulsi Kumari. The film marks Janhvi’s second collaboration with Varun following their pairing in Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal last year.
Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is slated to hit the theatres on April 18 next year.
