The Viral Fever’s (TVF) family drama Yeh Meri Family Season 2 will soon debut on Amazon miniTV for free, the steamer announced on Friday.
The first season of Yeh Meri Family, released in 2018, followed the story of a typical middle-class family during the 1990s and immediately struck a chord with millions of viewers. Season 2 of the TVF show will continue to portray the quirks of that family, taking a deep dive into simpler times when families used to celebrate centuries made by Sachin Tendulkar and become the envy of neighbours for owning a landline at home.

The first season, starring Mona Singh, Akarsh Khurana, Ahan Nirban, Ruhi Khan and Vishesh Bansal, was widely appreciated for its relatable narrative. TVF president Vijay Koshy said the whole idea behind the show was to depict a strong multigenerational family drama set in the ’90s. “We are confident that Yeh Meri Family Season 2 will strike an emotional chord with everyone who has lived through that decade and will deliver an exceptional experience,” he added.
