Elomelo raat (music composed by Indraadip Dasgupta) is a sensuous track that articulates Babli’s (Subhashree) romantic fantasies. Deeply in love with Abhi (Abir), she misses him and longs for his presence. The visuals portray figments of Babli’s imagination and are similar to scenes lifted from the pages of a fairy tale. Shreya Ghoshal, who sings melodiously in a soft, and at times whispering voice, immerses the listener into the world of dreams inhabited by Babli.

The song begins on a note of dark suspense, with its music accentuating a feeling of the supernatural. This sets the tone for the whole music video in which both its lyrics, tune as well as its visual impact together create an other-worldly feeling. The song also gives off a vintage vibe through its melody and the actors’ costumes, recalling the style of the ’90s.

In the music video, Babli’s dance is like a dance of desire. It gives vent to her pent-up emotions and allows her passions to gush forth through her movements. Babli’s mood vacillates between two extremes. Sometimes she is bold, confident and happy, but at others, she is anxious and lovelorn. A song by a love-sick young woman who misses her lover, the lyrics of Elomelo raat voice an appeal to the lover not to leave, suggesting Babli’s need for physical intimacy. As the song reflects Babli’s state of mind, Abhi’s presence in the song is totally imaginary, and the chemistry between the two is depicted as sensual and intimate. Abir is picturised as a serious person who is slowly led into Babli’s romantic world where he ultimately gives in to her wishes.
