Qala actress Triptii Dimri has topped IMDb’s weekly list of popular Indian celebrities, pushing Farzi star Raashii Khanna to the second spot and Shah Rukh Khan to the fourth position.
The Night Manager actress Sobhita Dhulipala occupied the third position on the list, released by IMDb on Monday night. Apart from Dhulipala, RRR actor Ram Charan and Ponniyin Selvan: I actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have also made it to the top-10 list this week — at No. 9 and 10, respectively.
YRF chief Aditya Chopra, who was recently seen in Netflix’s docu-series The Romantics, retained his position at No. 5 this week.
Last week, IMDb launched the Popular Indian Celebrities feature that showcases trending Indian stars —actors, directors, cinematographers and writers. According to IMDb, the list is prepared on the basis of pageviews of more than 200 million fans from around the globe. Every week, fans can see who is trending.
Dimri, who made her film debut with 2017’s comedy film Poster Boys, has also appeared in Imtiaz Ali’s 2018 romantic drama Laila Majnu and Anvita Dutt’s 2020 supernatural thriller Bulbbul.
The actress commented “❤️❤️❤️😍” on the IMDb post on Instagram.
The top-10 list also includes Farzi actor Vijay Sethupathi, Pathaan actress Deepika Padukone and Shiv Shastri Balboa star Anupam Kher.
