Tridha Choudhury returns to the OTT space after a long gap, essaying the role of Rumi Chatterjee in Sin — Whispers of Guilt. This marks Tridha’s first association with Addatimes. Sin — Whispers of Guilt, a thriller directed by Arunava Khasnobis, tells the story of an ex-officer Samar Saxena (played by Sahidur Rahman) seeking redemption after a tragic mishap fractures friendships and shatters lives. As he navigates guilt and rekindles bonds, love and justice intertwine with a corruption scam in Bengal, unfolding a path of revelations, forgiveness and resilience. An unwavering support to Samar, Rumi aids his redemption quest. Her love and strength are tested as they navigate trials revealing the resilience of their relationship.

Talking exuberantly about the project, Tridha said: “I am extremely excited for my association with Addatimes for the first time. The plot of Sin is very gripping.”

For the first time, Tridha will be seen playing the character of a journalist. “She likes to flow like a philosopher and a poet. Her profession is journalism. Her words and the truth behind her identity are a very important part of the series. I’ve never played a journalist before. The audience will see me in a very assertive manner. I’m very excited about that,” Tridha added.

Produced by Surinder Films, Sin — Whispers of Guilt will have its premiere on Addatimes this December.

Meanwhile, the horror series Petni, starring Ushasi Ray, Jasmine Roy, and Kanchan Mallick, is being showered with a lot of audience love. In Petni, four friends go on a long drive and experience eerie incidents on the road. What starts off as a regular fun road trip slowly becomes a dangerously haunting experience as a series of strange and unfortunate events start unfolding. They face an accident and Raka goes missing. After Raka returns her life turns upside down.

“It was a challenging journey to get into the psyche of Petni. I always wait to work with Abhimanyu Mukherjee. This has been a unique experience as I have never been a part of a horror series and on top of that, I play Petni. This also marks my first association with Addatimes,” said Ushasi Ray.

“We have tried to tell the story of Petni in a scary yet simple way. Petni has all the elements that will intrigue the viewers. We all are so excited to share one of the best stories written by Padmanabha Dasgupta with viewers on Addatimes,” said director Abhimanyu Mukherjee.

“This is my first collaboration with both Addatimes and Abhimanyu Mukherjee. We have shot in various scary locations. I am always attracted to horror stories,” said Jasmine Roy.
