Netflix has dropped the trailer for its new series Tribhuvan Mishra: CA Topper, which stars Manav Kaul in the titular role. Created by the makers of Mirzapur, the series will premiere on Netflix on July 18.

“Iss tax season, MOST wanted hai yeh CA Topper, inke chahne wale- gangsters, police aur Tribhuvan Mishra CA Topper, coming on 18 July, only on Netflix,” the streaming platform wrote alongside the one-minute-54-second trailer on Tuesday.

In the trailer, Manav Kaul’s character Tribhuvan Mishra offers sexual services to clients. However, complications arise when he encounters Bindi (Tillotama Shome), who is married to a gangster. Unable to digest the fact that Tribhuvan has been sleeping with his wife, the gangster orders his men to finish off the chartered accountant. What ensues is a chaotic mix of sex and violence.

Alongside Manav and Tillotama, the series also features Shweta Basu Prasad, Shubhrajyoti Barat, Faisal Malik, Jitin Gulati, Ashok Pathak, Naina Sareen, Sumit Gulati, Yamini Das and Naresh Gosain, making for a robust ensemble. Ram Sampath’s score perfectly complements the absurd comedy.

Tribhuvan Mishra: CA Topper has been written by Puneet Krishna, who has also co-directed the series with Amrit Raj Gupta. The series is produced by Ram Sampath, Vineet Krishna and Puneet Krishna.
